Sea Salt Cheese Crackers Gluten Free

When I start craving something crunchy I throw together a batch of my sea salt cheese crackers. I top them with a nice piece of herb cream cheese or any other gourmet cheese I have in the fridge. Since they are made with almond flour and cheese, they are naturally gluten free and very filling so you only need a few to satisfy your crunch. The whole process takes me about 20-25 minutes, they are that quick and easy!

In a food processor I put in 1 cup of almond flour, 1/4 cup of flax seed meal,  1 cup cheese, 1/2 teaspoon of salt and 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda and pulsed until mixed together. Sea Salt Cheese Crackers Gluten Free

I then added the wet ingredients 1 egg and 1 1/2 tablespoon of olive oil and pulsed until it formed a dough ball.

Sea Salt Cheese Crackers Gluten Free I dumped my ball onto the baking sheet lined with a parchment paper and gathered the dough escapees together into my dough ball and flattened it down with my hand.

Sea Salt Cheese Crackers Gluten Free When I had flatted the dough out to the thickness of my liking, I sprinkled the sea salt over the dough as evenly as possible.

Sea Salt Cheese Crackers Gluten Free I gently pushed the sea salt into the dough and helped spread it around more evenly. Nobody likes a mouthful of salt!

With a pizza cutter I cut my crackers down into little squares.

I baked my crackers in a preheated oven to 350F for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown. Right after I took them out of the oven I retraced with the pizza cutter where I had originally cut the crackers while they were still hot.

Sea Salt Cheese Crackers Gluten Free I let them cool for about 10-15 minutes and they are ready for me to get munching and crunching!

Net carbs for these are 2.5 pr/serving!
I just added the nutrition label to this recipe!
I normally use sharp cheddar because that’s the best non gmo cheese I can get from my grocer in a block. I shred my own cheese myself as they add carbs to the store bought shredded cheese.

Hey these look great!!! How many crackers in a serving for these? I’m pre-diabetic so counting carbs need to be most exact now a day. Thanks in advance and I love this blog you tell it like it is!
